ABSTRACT
The plastic flow rule and the yield loci of granular media are validated by physical tests in laboratories (e.g., Tatsuoka and Ishihara 1974, Anandarajah et al. 1995). However, the physical tests have difficulty to derive absolute conclusions due to the restrictions of the test system and the variation of specimen.
