ABSTRACT
Nonlinear Static Methods (NSM) based on pushover analysis represent a good alternative to Nonlinear Time-History Analysis (NTHA) and they are frequently used as a practical engineering tool for the seismic assessment of existing structures. This paper focuses on the verification of a new performancebased adaptive methodology for the seismic assessment of bridges.
