ABSTRACT
Distribution transformers and power transformers have distinctive connections that are tailored to their application. ese connections are described in various IEEE and IEC standards (IEEE C57.12.70, IEEE C57.105, and IEC 60076-1). e applications of these transformer connections are dependent on whether the transformation is distribution service, generation step-up, transmission transitions, or special applications. is chapter speci–cally addresses the most common connections for conditions of service in distribution and transmission systems.
