ABSTRACT

Hydroelectric power generation involves the storage of a hydraulic ºuid, water, conversion of the hydraulic (potential) energy of the ºuid into mechanical (kinetic) energy in a hydraulic turbine, and conversion of the mechanical energy to electrical energy in an electric generator.
