ABSTRACT

This chapter provides an account of Theology Without Wall” (TWW) from its own insider practices as an open-field theology (OFT). All theology has a hermeneutical dimension, and TWW/OFT can provide a space of theological interactivity between noncanonical and canonical theologies, postconfessional and confessional theologies within the same nondirective field of inquiry. The chapter sets out a number of features and possible futures of TWW/OFT in a world where “religion” as a sovereign category is either questionable or obsolete.
