ABSTRACT

This final chapter integrates the insights and findings from examining Prime Cookstoves and Tirta Indonesia Mandiri Foundation management practices and insights into the consolidated NPDP framework for frugal innovation. This brings together the evidence and insights from not only Prime Cookstoves and Tirta Indonesia Mandiri Foundation activities and decision-making, but also the broader sample of case studies referred to within this study. This reinforces the “Roadmap of NPDP for Frugal Innovation” developed in Chapter 3. Following the development of this model, utilising both deductive and inductive methods, this chapter reviews some of the key limitations from this study focusing on two case studies within Indonesia. This chapter concludes with a discussion of the NPDP framework for frugal innovation, practical implications and further research opportunities.
