ABSTRACT

In order to ensure the safety of a room, a password lock, remotely controlled by an Android mobile phone, was designed that took an AT89S52 microcontroller as the main control chip, an AT24C02 as the data storage unit, an SMC1602 A as the display unit, and used C language programming. The development of this lock was also used to understand the communication between electronic password locks and mobile phones when using an HC-05 Bluetooth module. The combination of lock with password-change function can, through a keypad and mobile phone, provide two ways to input and change a password.
