Arthroscopy of the hip joint is discussed in great detail, including the layout, instrumentation, portals of arthroscopic insertion, articular cartilage, septic arthritis, pigmented villonodular synovistis, synovial chondromatosis, hip trauma, osteonecrosis of the femoral head, painful hip arthroplasty, hip dysplasia, slipped capital femoral epiphysis and Perthes sequelae, teres ligament injuries, capsule repair, extra-articular pathological conditions around the hip, trochanteric bursitis, external snapping, tendinopathy, deep gluteal pain, internal snapping, piriformis syndrome, and rehabilitation.
