ABSTRACT
Digital templating has become more important given the advent of a great number of different prosthesis designs and sizes, as it has approximately 65–80% accuracy in predicting acetabular and femoral component sizes. The need for templating is at its greatest as it helps in selection of the correct prostheses and the planned approach and also ensures that adequate prosthesis sizes are available prior to proceeding.
