ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses intramedullary fixation in unstable fractures of the femoral neck by Dimon and Hughston osteotomy or Sarmiento's valgus osteotomy technique because unstable fractures have a potential for failure, hence the importance of anatomical reduction and stable fixation being vital.
