ABSTRACT

The question of lay analysis forged a question that motivated, and motivates, a host of heated claims, protests and their correspondent defenses, under the form either of written or spoken words. The distrust assumed the form and content of illegal practice under the rules of the judiciary system in many countries. In other terms, it was not dealt with the psychoanalytic vertex. Either inside or outside the boundaries of the International Psychoanalytical Association – the question lurks. Groups can be quantitatively regarded as masses with more than three hundred gathered individuals; medium and small groups are less than twenty people. The psychoanalytic vertex allowed scientists to observe some “basic assumptions” governing the mindless behavior of any group in which either most or a minority of its members are under the sway of each member’s narcissistic and paranoid tendencies. It is a well-known fact that in the case, the psychotic personality traits prevail at the expense of the non-psychotic traits.
