ABSTRACT
Concept behind a green building is just going with sustainable approach. This sustainable approach focuses of managing our needs with available resources without affecting the needs of future. The ideal green building would be a building project that would allow you to preserve most of the natural environment around the project site, while still being able to produce a building that is going to serve a purpose. The main principle of sustainable development is, above all, the balance between the three basic areas—the environment, social aspects and economic aspects. The aim of this paper is to define the evaluation criteria for the SBToolCZ (Czech certification system) in the area of facility management and user documentation for administrative buildings in the operational phase. Compared with foreign certificates SBToolCZ is cheaper and is kept in Czech. SBToolCZ is based on an internationally recognized method and evaluates very similar criteria to other foreign methods.
