ABSTRACT
The third and last House of Quality focuses on the production of the finished product, and it is appropriately called the Manufacturing house. The Process Variables (PVs) are the components for creating the top room of House of Quality 3 (HOQ3). This room has the PV metrics with their expected values and acceptable ranges. The findings in HOQ3 are impactful like the other two houses but with a more focused view of production. These interactions express the rankings of the PVs metrics either at the bottom of HOQ3 or at the Pareto chart. This Manufacturing House combined Quality Control metrics from research and development with the production PVs. Complete order and shipped on time are the highest ranked PV metric with a value of 16.8% followed by three others that are ranked near the 15% range: reactor temperature, automatically added raw materials (RMs), and manually added RMs.
