Included in the chapter is a thorough discussion of what a dispute board is and the philosophy and reasoning of why they came to be created, how they are used and in what circumstances – where dispute boards fit into the scheme of alternate dispute resolution are discussed along with mention of the other forms such as mediation, arbitration and court litigation.
