To properly conduct a Dispute Board Hearing the chair need to know how to prepare, the documents needed and what protocol to use. This chapter provides all the details necessary to run a successful Dispute Board Hearing and gives the reader all the necessary forms, sample protocols, preliminary steps necessary and how to handle documents, notices and agenda preparation. It also firmly defines the role of the char and other members of the dispute board and gives a suggested Hearing room layout. Covering the various party roles, the employer and contractor, the engineers and handling their evidence during the hearing, closing the evidence and reaching a decision are all covered with numerous samples of each item including actual decision samples.
