ABSTRACT
This chapter is an application exercise specific to the Pre-production Phase of the directorial process, based on the reading of the short play Deleted. It contains a series of guiding questions to help the student director prepare for the initial production meeting and subsequent production meetings with the creative team specific to the production of Deleted. These practical exercises help the student director apply collaborative stage directing principles in the safety of the classroom or workshop setting. The chapter ends with Activities for Self-Reflection for the student’s personal and professional growth.
