ABSTRACT

A gentleman attends the emergency department along with his friends, a young girl and a cowardly lion. He tells you he had been having significant pain and a creaking sensation on walking. This had been especially bad recently as he has been on a long journey along a yellow paved road. He has previously had multiple operations including bilateral hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow replacements, which were done for osteoarthritis. He tells you these were done with tin implants. He has come for a routine check-up following the most recent left hip replacement. You find him well; his wound has healed and he is walking comfortably without aid.
