ABSTRACT
The introductory chapter draws the contours of the context. It defines terms such as migration, community and conflict. While drawing linkages between migration and community conflict, it explores the causes, continuation and effects of migration on the areas, communities or societies of destination. It also deals with the reasons, types and actors of resource conflicts.
