Adivasis, Bengali migrants and the state

Chapter 3 explores the changing relationship between the Adivasis, Bengali migrants and the state within the context of the Dandakaranya Project. It deals with the genesis and functions of the Dandakaranya Project. While reading the implementing role of the state, it makes a comparative analysis of impacts of the project on Bengali migrants and Adivasis and addresses why and how the former had the edge over the latter while accessing privileges under the project.
