ABSTRACT
This chapter covers the various types of issue which arise from site work, such as site access and possession, site conditions and other matters leading to disputes and litigation. It deals with the major area of dispute which revolves around unforeseen ground conditions, and who has responsibility for these. The employer’s responsibility regarding possession of the site is also covered.
