ABSTRACT

It takes a lot of time to develop engaging lessons. It takes a lot of energy to stay upbeat for all the students. It takes a lot of patience to handle some of the struggling and challenging students. When principals visit classrooms on a regular basis, they communicate to teachers that their work is valued. In the classrooms, they get to experience instructional highlights, but they also get to witness instructional challenges. Administrators always have greater credibility when the teachers know they are aware of the realities in the classroom. Teachers are the heart and soul of every school, and the best way to connect with them is to watch them in their element – the classroom.
