ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I will present five examples of You Said What? moments. Two are examples of my own work, and three are from my mentors at the Galveston Family Institute (GFI), which has since moved to Houston and been renamed the Houston Galveston Institute (HGI). All of the examples are from work done on Galveston Island. HGI is one of three surviving original family therapy institutes, along with the Ackerman Family Institute and the Mental Research Institute.
