ABSTRACT
DOWN in the camp we were received with joyous greetings and curious questions, and the young people shouted with joy when they heard that the white guest was “the man with the box that can talk”. Great indignation was aroused by the fact that I had not brought my wonderful “box” with me, but a part of the phonograph’s popularity nevertheless attached to its owner.
