ABSTRACT

This theoretical paper aims at providing a contribution to the Care Approach of organizations by proposing a discussion that is based on the philosophy of Simone Weil (1909–1943). More precisely, we discuss the contribution of two specific aspects of the Philosophy of Simone Weil (“thinking one’s own work” and “Spirituality”) to the Ethics of Care. We argue that, despite many aspects that oppose both philosophies, Weil enriches the notion of dialogue and the object of the dialogue.
