ABSTRACT
A 78-year-old man was brought to hospital by his family after developing symptoms of nausea and vomiting. He had been vomiting intermittently for the preceding 24 h and was unable to tolerate oral fluids. He also reported several episodes of diarrhoea, passing watery green-brown stools on each occasion.
