ABSTRACT
A 16-year-old man was brought to hospital after developing acute confusion. His mother reported that he was unsure of where he was or who his family were upon waking this morning and that he had complained of fever and cough over the past 2 days. He had no past medical history, took no regular medications and had no unwell contacts. He was a college student and lived with his family.
