ABSTRACT
A 42-year-old woman attended her antenatal clinic for a routine check-up. She was 6-months pregnant and thus far had not experienced any complications associated with this pregnancy. This was her first pregnancy. She had no known past medical history and took no regular medications aside from vitamin supplements. She worked as a pharmacist and did not drink alcohol or smoke.
