ABSTRACT

Project management is the art of getting weird stuff done (usually to improve a situation or to realise an opportunity). A project can be a project even when it isn’t big and scary, and the business world needs more people with the basic project delivery and change leadership skills in place, even as part of projects as usual work. Project life is certainly not painting by numbers and most certainly does not need a big volume of project mantra jargon to prop up its desk of existence. It just needs some bloody good common sense and a few basics of understanding.
