ABSTRACT

Most of Reichstein’s letters to Jung have personal motives, but beyond the personal topics, there are letters in which he requested her support for the publications and texts in Dutch, which indicates that Jung trusted Reichstein’s ability to evaluate texts related to his psychology. This chapter focuses on the letters between Jung and Reichstein after 1940, in which Jung discussed with her religious motives. Their letters exchange show an intense academic conversation on themes which were the focus of Jung’s interest in his later writings. Jung maintained his correspondence with Reichstein until late in his life in a responsive and collegiate manner.
