ABSTRACT

The first thing the patients wish to know is how the physician will “fix” their problems. Sometimes patients might become aggressive toward the physician due to intense emotional stress when their health status is negative. Physicians and healthcare providers should avoid interfering in other physicians’ specialties and limit their suggestions within their roles and specialities. Sometimes patients receive wrong or unnecessary information from the people around them, such as friends, family, other physicians, or healthcare providers, which may increase their worry. The patient believes that a physician can make them better. Educating a patient has become more difficult, because the paternalistic approach can no longer be followed. Even ordinary patients want to know everything about their treatment and prefer to take their own decisions. When the patient is economically weak to support the treatment, the physician should consider it and make a plan that works for them.
