ABSTRACT

Administration and management (AdM) are the main infrastructure of the hospital as an organization. The AdM unit is responsible for managing financial and overall hospital setting issues. Change management is associated with the various techniques used to bring a change in businesses, including hospitals. The change could be a change in the process, structure, technology, staff, or culture. In the Lean context, it means that the change is more to the process for short-term and culture for long-term. When the AdM unit try to make changes to a door, then the other doors should also adapt to these changes. This adaptation effort should be done regularly through the wise steps run by the AdM unit. When this decision is made, change management steps must be followed because Lean handling for one hospital will be much more complex than just in one unit, which tend to be homogeneous. AdM must plan carefully, implement organization, and control the ongoing changes.
