ABSTRACT
Through General Hsu Ch'ung-chih's favor, Kai-shek and I were invited to Mr. and Mrs. Wang Ching-wei's dinner party given in honor of the "Hero of the Day." This hero was General Liu Chen-huan, who was chiefly responsible for the victory that ousted Ch'en Chiung-ming from Canton and thus restored Dr. Sun to office. Dr. Sun, in his deep gratitude, had nicknamed General Liu, "Living Angel Liu."
