Every producer needs to know four things to correct dystocia in cattle:
- What is normal. If you understand the normal condition of the cow, then all else should be abnormal.
- How long to wait before giving assistance.
- How much assistance to give and how to give it.
- When to stop—most important of all, know your limitations.
