ABSTRACT

1 The hare warned the Bear-cub that it was dangerous to go to the river he might meet with the One who lives in the river. And sure enough, when the Bear-cub glanced into the water, he in fact caught sight of the One who lived in the river. He was frightened but did not let it show, and made a face at the One who lived in the river, a terrible grimace. The other made a terrible grimace in return. Frightened still further, the Bear-cub threatened Him with his paw, but He answered with the same gesture.
