ABSTRACT
Some of the problems involved in taking ethical actions in regard to technology were analyzed by Jean-Daniel Reynaud, professor of labor sociology at the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers in Paris. He warned against an ethnocentric approach that would reflect only the problems of the affluent, industrialized nations, pointing out that the less developed countries might view technology's impact quite differently.
