ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the concept of threats to a space system including their definition, categorization, and execution. A detailed exploration of general threat attributes and characterizations includes threat types, severity, targets, and effectiveness. Single and multiple threat scenarios are compared as well as the implications of evolving or escalating threats.
