ABSTRACT
This chapter explains the research process for doctoral students conducting gender, race, identity, indigeneity, and diversity (GRIID) studies and the requirements for (a) respecting the human rights of participants, (b) the researcher’s orientation in unfolding the meaning of data and analyzing the research findings, and (c) the use of method to provide social justice for the individual and groups examined, overcoming the challenges of dominant theoretical frames.
