ABSTRACT

Quality Assurance Improvement can be characterized with metrics as a focus of current outcomes and needs to ensure compliance and proper follow-up of identified issues and concerns. While scope of Quality Assurance improvement with metrics includes actions as conducting a root cause analysis, developing an action plan requires any specific or formal improvement process to be used. Quality Assurance metrics are a key component of effective quality management plans and procedures to show that measurements ensure that customers always receive acceptable products or deliverables. Quality Assurance metric reviews must be scheduled on a monthly basis throughout the program and project life cycle. Quality Assurance metrics also help judge productivity and efficiency over time, and many test cases that pass in the first run and many that require a retest can lead to numerous reports. Product Quality Assurance metrics are particularly useful for highlighting anomalous components that may have quality problems.
