ABSTRACT
This chapter shares examples of commonplace and resolvable challenges in interdisciplinary publishing associated with a successful review process prior to detailing a case of interrupted publishing. The interruption highlights how epistemological differences across fields can challenge researchers who wish to share implications from qualitative studies with natural scientists in venues they read. Though discouraging to experience, the story offers insights into possible strategies and ways forward.
