ABSTRACT

The article proposes models for predicting the course of the early postoperative period. Models derived using the group method of data handling can be used to determine patients with a high risk of postoperative complications, such as: prolonged exudation, rhythm disturbances, neurological disorders, and helothorax. While constructing the models, clinical indicators of the patient’s condition were used. The predictive values of some pre- and postoperative factors for the development of the considered complications are analysed.
