ABSTRACT

This document presents the development of a functional model of instrumental examination of a patient using the functional modelling methodology IDEF0. The stages of the transformation of information obtained, inter alia, from the analysis of recorded biomedical signals and images with locally concentrated features are considered for the construction of this model. The developed functional model of the instrumental examination is presented in the form of a context diagram, its decomposition, and the decomposition of the activities “Recording and analysis of biomedical signals and images with locally concentrated features” and “Perform diagnostics”. Taking into account the proposed functional model of the process of instrumental examination of the patient, a generalised structural scheme of biomedical decision support system is developed on the basis of the morphological analysis of biomedical signals and images with locally concentrated features. The modular principle of construction of biomedical decision support system is grounded. The requirements to the software of the developed biomedical decision support system are formulated.
