ABSTRACT

In this study, an acupuncture virtual reality game with VIVE was introduced to train and test trainee acupuncturists. Eight videos were made to introduce the techniques of meridian massage for the relief of common symptoms. Trainees watch these videos to learn the appropriate meridian massage to relieve different symptoms. The VIVE VR game is then played by the trainees to practice and test what they have learned. The experimental results show that the proposed system can improve memory of the map of acupoints of diseases and the positions of acupoints using a method that is fun and encourages learning.
