ABSTRACT
Giraut de Bomeil once went overseas with King Richard 1 and with the Viscount of Limoges, whose name was Lord Aimar, and he was present at the siege of Acre. When the city had been taken and all the barons returned, Guiraut de Bomeil went off to the court of the good Prince of Antioch, who was a very noble man. Giraut was greatly honored and served there by the Prince and he spent an entire winter with him waiting for the return passage that was to arrive at Easter.
