ABSTRACT

Soil is considered to be a complex environment, which is a major reservoir of microorganisms and macroorganisms microbial, which are essential for proper functioning and maintenance of soil health. For growth of plant soil health is very important. Metagenomics is rapid growing research topic with high expectation. It exposes various unseen dimension for researcher to get attracted and work harder to explore more. It promises a complete understanding of global biological cycles to keeps biosphere in balance, organism responsible for producing enzymes, proteins, antibiotics, etc. Latest methodology of DNA isolation, cloning techniques, and screening strategies allows assessment and exploiting of microbes from extreme and inhospitable environments, such as hot springs, glaciers, hypersaline basins, etc. The introduction of next generation sequencing and advanced bioinformatics tools opened the door of comparative study of the metagenomic data sets with respect to phylogenetic and metabolic diversity in more precise way. Moreover, we mentioned various bioinformatics techniques and its application used for the analysis of metagenomics bioremediation data.376
