ABSTRACT
This paper is written following my experience across various countries in Europe as a host to Social Dream Matrix in international countries. Social Dream Matrix is a method of working with dreams that are shared and associated to within a gathering of people, coming together for this purpose. It is a gathering of participants committed to sharing their dreams. The SDM then acts as a “container” within which human potential can be brought into focus and put to work through communication of dreams within a social context.
In SDM across Europe we witness the kaleidoscope of transgenerational, social, political, cultural, economic dynamics, processes and events in Europe, ranging over hundreds of years and in the current traumatic situations. We can observe how sharing of dreams in such a matrix allows for both societal and personal working through of traumas.
