ABSTRACT
This chapter is written for the lay reader interested in decentralized wastewater reuse and ecotechnology for wastewater treatment. These topics are considered within the context of this book: the future of the Iraqi marshes. Because comprehensibility is inversely proportional to technical rigor, and there is much intellectual territory to cover, technical detail is set aside to convey key concepts.
