ABSTRACT
IN THE EARLIER CHAPTERS, we discussed risks, risk types, and main risks. These are the build-ing blocks in the assessment of the SCR. This holds both for a standard formula or the use of internal models. These risk types, which we will define in accordance with IAA (2004), are composed of underlying subrisks.
