ABSTRACT
Coronary bifurcation lesions are currently the subject of considerable attention because of their frequency and because their management by PCI treatment with bare metal stents, especially drug-eluting stents, has not yet been adequately codified.1-3 PCI is associated with lower success rate and higher risk of complication and its midterm outcome is poorer compared to that of nonbifurcated lesions.
