ABSTRACT
The model of health elds proposed by Laframboise in 1973 and developed in Lalonde Report in 1974 (Lalonde, 1974) has revolutionized contemporary public health due to the approaching and explaining the health levels in the populations and therefore, the way of formulating health policies. Marc Lalonde, proposed a new ‘health eld’ concept: ‘the health eld can be broken up into four broad elements: Human biology, Environment, Lifestyle, and Health Care Organization’ (p. 31).
