ABSTRACT
In this section, as well as in related sections to follow, we will review some very influential games that were not discussed previously. These games had an everlasting influence by affecting specific game genres, or even the industry as a whole, by implementing new concepts and ideas. Let us begin by looking at games, whether from arcades, consoles, or home computers, that were developed before the video game crash of 1983.
